Texas Roadhouse to Expand Amarillo Location, Adding 848 sq ft of Dining Space
Texas Roadhouse filed a plan to enlarge its Amarillo restaurant at 2805 West I‑40. The renovation will add 848 square feet to the dining room, creating roughly eight new tables and moving the to‑go area to the west side of the building. Managing partner Rebecca Romero said the changes aim to reduce wait times, accommodate larger parties and improve the pick‑up experience for guests.
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation lists the project’s timeline from September to December, with an estimated cost of $125,000. The expansion is intended to meet growing local demand for the chain’s steaks, rolls and other menu items.
