Texas Tech and New Mexico announce 2026-27 basketball schedules

Texas Tech and New Mexico have released their respective men's basketball schedules for the 2026-27 season.

Texas Tech will begin its 102nd season at home against Jackson State on November 2. The Red Raiders' non-conference home schedule includes a five-game stand at United Supermarkets Arena, featuring a matchup against Illinois on November 10. The team also has scheduled appearances at the Players Era in Las Vegas and a neutral-court game against Duke at Madison Square Garden on December 21.

New Mexico will open its season on the road against Oklahoma State on October 11. The Lobos' first home game will be held at The Pit on November 2 against Utah Tech. Key matchups for the Lobos include a Mountain West Conference opener against UTEP in January and a Rio Grande Rivalry game against New Mexico State on December 5.
