Texas Tech defeats Boise State to end Broncos' unbeaten streak

Texas Tech women's soccer defeated Boise State 2-0 in Lubbock, Texas, ending the Broncos' record-setting 17-match unbeaten streak.

Taylor Zdrojewski scored both goals for the Red Raiders, converting a free kick in the 17th minute and adding a second goal in the 62nd minute. Texas Tech controlled much of the match, finishing with a 15-7 advantage in total shots. Boise State goalkeeper Ava de Leest recorded four saves in the loss.

The victory follows a challenging period for Texas Tech, which recently returned from a trip to Hawaii where they played through adverse weather conditions caused by Tropical Storm Lulu.
