Texas Tech University is ranked higher than Baylor University across several ranking systems. In the U.S. News & World Report national university rankings Texas Tech is tied at 198 while Baylor is 88 spots higher; Forbes lists Texas Tech 37 places above Baylor; Niche ranks Texas Tech at 103 versus Baylor at 184; the Center for World University Rankings places Texas Tech at 123 compared with Baylor much lower; Times Higher Education, QS World University Rankings and Studyportals also show Texas Tech ahead of Baylor by substantial margins.
