Texas Volleyball secures SEC win over Tennessee in record crowd

In recent collegiate volleyball action, several major matchups concluded with significant results across the SEC and other conferences.

In the SEC, No. 7 Texas secured a 3-2 reverse-sweep victory against No. 13 Tennessee in front of a program-record crowd of 9,226 fans in Knoxville. Despite Tennessee taking the first two sets, Texas rallied to win the final three. Separately, No. 7 Texas also faced No. 3 Kentucky, falling in a straight-set sweep (25-23, 25-20, 25-21).

Other conference results include Ole Miss sweeping Alabama 3-0 in their SEC opener, and Auburn reverse-sweeping Arkansas 3-2. In the American Conference, Tulsa defeated Memphis 3-1, and Central Arkansas edged out Austin Peay 3-2 in a five-set battle. Additionally, Tulane defeated North Texas in a 3-0 sweep.
