Texas Women's Golf secures top seed at St Andrews Links Collegiate

The No. 10 Texas women's golf team secured the top seed at the St Andrews Links Collegiate following the stroke play portion of the tournament in Scotland. Despite difficult wind conditions during the second round, Texas finished 13 strokes ahead of the nearest competitor, the University of St Andrews.

Texas senior Farah O'Keefe earned co-medalist honors alongside Washington's Hannah Ounap, as they were the only two players to finish the stroke play portion under par. O'Keefe finished at 2-under par, marking her seventh career victory and moving her into second place on the University of Texas career wins list.

Texas will face the University of St Andrews in the championship match using a medal match play format. The Longhorns' performance was bolstered by several top finishes, including Charlotte Naughton, who placed third in her collegiate debut.
