Texcoco signs contract to regularize land for 4,500 families

The Texcoco Municipal Government has signed a mandate contract to begin the land regularization process for the Víctor Puebla neighborhood. This initiative aims to provide legal certainty regarding property ownership for more than 4,500 families.

The program is a coordinated effort involving three levels of government: the Mexican federal government through the National Institute for Sustainable Land (INSUS), the State of Mexico government, and the Texcoco municipal administration. During the signing ceremony, INSUS Director General Víctor Guzmán Dagnino noted that the regularization process may extend to other neighborhoods in the future.

In addition to land titles, municipal president Nazario Gutiérrez Martínez announced upcoming infrastructure improvements. These include a 10 million peso investment for drainage works, plans for a water well tender, and efforts to pipe a local canal to improve community services.
