Texom S.A. wins contract to finish Olsztyn swimming pool
On 28 July 2026 the municipality of Olsztyn signed a contract with Kraków‑based construction firm Texom S.A. to complete the city’s public swimming pool. The overall investment exceeds 30 million zł, with the second phase covered by a contract worth over 20.5 million zł. Funding comes from the Polish Ład (about 8 million zł), the Ministry of Sport and the Marshal’s Office (approximately 2.55 million zł), with the remaining costs covered by the city and gmina budgets.
Texom will install the pool basin, stainless‑steel wading pool, three jacuzzi tubs, a water‑treatment system, parking facilities, bike‑and‑scooter shelters, a rain‑water tank and a modern safety system called “Angel Eye” that detects drowning risks. The contractor has up to 23 months to complete the work, according to Mayor Tomasz Kucharski.
The project follows an earlier tender in which the first construction stage was completed in 2025 by Przemysłówka SA. After that contractor’s bankruptcy, the municipality secured insurance compensation of over 700 thousand zł before re‑tendering the remaining work.
