Textron Aviation names Brian Rohloff as new CEO

Textron Aviation has announced that Brian Rohloff will succeed Ron Draper as president and CEO, effective August 31, 2026. Draper, who has led the company for eight years and spent 27 years with Textron, will remain as a senior advisor through the end of 2026 to facilitate a seamless leadership transition.

Rohloff is a veteran of the company with nearly 30 years of experience. His previous roles at Textron Aviation include Vice President of Quality, Vice President of Sales, and Senior Product Director for the Citation XLS+ and Citation X. Textron CEO Lisa Atherton noted that Rohloff’s appointment is part of a deliberate succession plan intended to ensure continuity and operational excellence.

Textron Aviation manages several prominent aircraft brands, including Beechcraft, Cessna, and Hawker, covering business jets, turboprops, and defense products.
