Teyana Taylor launches TEY Foundation with Harlem giveaway

Singer and performer Teyana Taylor has officially launched the TEY Foundation, an organization dedicated to community support and growth. To mark the launch, Taylor hosted the ‘Teyana Takeover’ and a back-to-school giveaway at Dyckman Park in Harlem.

The foundation’s name, TEY, stands for ‘Time Evolves You.’ Taylor stated that the mission is rooted in the idea that personal growth should be ‘poured back into the people, places and communities that helped shape who we are.’

The event took place at the historic Dyckman Basketball tournament site, a location Taylor has attended since her youth. The giveaway was supported by Jordan Brand, which Taylor credited for assisting her community efforts prior to the formal establishment of the foundation.
