Teyonah Parris joins cast of Apple Original Films’ ‘Running’

Actor Teyonah Parris has joined the cast of the Apple Original Films production ‘Running’. Directed by Gavin O’Connor, the film features an ensemble cast including Spike Fearn, Brian Tyree Henry, and Rhea Seehorn.

The film is based on an original story by O’Connor with a screenplay by Bill Dubuque. The plot follows a homeless high school running prodigy attempting to achieve greatness while using his athletic talents to escape his past and find a sense of family. The project is produced by Makeready and Nike Films in association with Apple Studios.
