TF1 confirms return of satirical show C’est Canteloup for 2026‑27 season
TF1 has announced that the satirical sketch programme C’est Canteloup will resume broadcasting for the 2026‑2027 season. The short‑format show, which lampoons current public figures, was placed on pause in July 2026 after its 15th season ended in May 2026. Producer Jean‑Marc Dumontet confirmed that the contract with the network runs until May 2027, securing the programme’s future.
Host Hélène Mannarino, who has co‑presented the show since 2022, confirmed the comeback in an interview with Télé Loisirs, noting her enthusiasm for continuing to parody the week’s newsmakers alongside impressionist Nicolas Canteloup. The programme previously faced criticism from media commentator Pascal Praud, but the network’s decision to retain the show indicates confidence in its audience appeal.
C’est Canteloup, which first aired in 2011, has been a fixture in TF1’s primetime schedule, typically broadcast around 21:00. The upcoming season is expected to maintain the same format, delivering weekly satirical takes on French and international news.
