TF1 fans launch petition to save The Young and the Restless

Viewers of the American soap opera “The Young and the Restless” have launched a petition to prevent the series from being removed from the French television network TF1. Following reports that the network may end the show’s broadcast by late December 2026, fans have mobilized on Change.org to urge the group to reconsider or find alternative ways to air the program.

The series has been a staple on TF1 for over thirty-seven years, having first premiered on the channel in August 1989. As of November 1, the “Save The Young and the Restless” petition had gathered more than 3,000 signatures. Supporters emphasize the cultural and emotional significance of the show, which has followed the lives of families such as the Newmans and Abbotts for decades.
