TF1 introduces dramatic twists in 'Demain nous appartient' and 'Plus belle la vie

The daily TF1 soap operas aired new plot developments in early August 2026. In "Demain nous appartient," the character Aurore faces criticism from her husband and becomes involved in a jewelry theft investigation that leads to a murder on the island hosting the Kalésia hotel. A new police captain, Melvil Sabari, joins the Sète precinct, adding further tension to the storyline.

Meanwhile, "Plus belle la vie" broadcast an episode on 6 August in which Ophélie is arrested after confessing to a crime, prompting a police interrogation by Idriss and Ariane. The episode reveals that the waitress Charlie is the former partner of the deceased Hugo Basque, leading to a chase and further revelations about the case.

Both episodes were shown after the midday news on TF1 and attracted sizable viewership, continuing the networks' strong performance in French daytime drama.
