TF1 to end The Young and the Restless broadcast in 2027

The long-running soap opera ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Les Feux de l’amour), which has aired on the French network TF1 for 37 years, is scheduled to be removed from the programming schedule starting in January 2027.

The decision follows declining viewership numbers. Recent data indicated approximately 340,000 viewers, representing a 9.3% audience share, which trails significantly behind the competition on France 2.

TF1 reportedly plans to replace the series with a revival of the game show ‘Pyramide,’ potentially hosted by Arthur. In response to the announcement, fans have launched a petition on Change.org to advocate for the program's continued broadcast on the network.
