TF1 to remove soap opera Les Feux de l'amour from schedule

The French television channel TF1 plans to remove the long-running soap opera Les Feux de l'amour from its morning schedule starting in January. The decision follows a decline in viewership for the series, which has been broadcast on the network since 1989.

The time slot is expected to be taken over by the game show Pyramide, hosted by Arthur. Fans of the series, which follows the lives of characters in Genoa City, have expressed significant disappointment, with some viewers describing the loss as a blow to their daily routines. A petition has been launched by supporters in an attempt to save the program.
