TFFHGD calls for increased wages for Turkish football referees

The Association of Active Football Referees and Observers (TFFHGD) has issued a call to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) to re-evaluate the wages of referees and observers in light of current economic conditions.

In statements from the Yozgat branch and the General Headquarters, the association emphasized that the demand is not merely about a salary increase, but about recognizing the labor and dedication of those serving at all levels of football. They highlighted that referees and observers often use their own resources and time to serve the sport, particularly those working in amateur, provincial, and regional matches.

The TFFHGD has formally submitted these requests to relevant authorities and called upon TFF President İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu and the board of directors to take concrete steps toward a fair and sustainable wage structure. The association noted it has received widespread support from the football community across Turkey and intends to continue advocating for a solution.
