TFG London hit by cyber attack affecting Hobbs and Whistles
The Foschini Group (TFG) has reported a cybersecurity incident affecting its UK subsidiary, TFG London. The attack has specifically impacted the IT systems of the Phase Eight, Hobbs, and Whistles fashion brands.
TFG stated that while certain systems were affected, there is no current evidence to suggest that customer payment information has been compromised. The company has reported the incident to UK authorities and is working with external cybersecurity specialists. While physical stores remain open, some website capabilities may be unavailable, and customers may experience delays in orders placed after Sunday, 11 October.
This incident follows a series of recent cyberattacks within the fashion industry. Within the past week, ASOS reported that an unauthorized party accessed personal data, including names and contact details. Additionally, Swedish retailer H&M is investigating claims that it was targeted by a cybercriminal group known as Shinyhunters.
