TG Jones store and Bracknell Post Office to close in 2027

The TG Jones store in Bracknell is scheduled to close in early 2027, a move that will also result in the closure of the Post Office branch located within the premises. The retailer announced the shutdown as part of a national restructuring programme following a High Court approval of its restructuring plan on July 1.

TG Jones cited challenging trading conditions as the primary driver for the closure. The Post Office has stated it is actively seeking an alternative location for a branch in Bracknell, though it warned that arranging a new site could take several months. In the interim, customers are advised to use nearby branches in Priestwood, Harmans Water, Great Hollands, and Birch Hill.
