TGL announces 2027 season schedule and roster expansions

The TGL simulator golf league, founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, has announced structural changes and a full schedule for its third season. Beginning December 27 at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, the upcoming campaign will expand team rosters from four to five players to accommodate league growth and roster turnover.

Several high-profile players are departing, including Xander Schauffele, Adam Scott, Kevin Kisner, and Lucas Glover. New additions to the league include Michael Brennan, Ben James, Blades Brown, and Jackson Koivun. Notable roster movements include Shane Lowry joining Boston Common Golf and Chris Gotterup moving to the Atlanta squad.

The 2027 season will feature 14 regular-season matches and a new play-in game to determine the fourth playoff spot. To increase accessibility for younger and international audiences, the schedule includes more weekend and daytime games, with three matches scheduled to air on ABC.
