TGS and Galdor Exploration partner for AI-driven North Sea exploration

TGS and the newly established Galdor Exploration AS have entered into a strategic framework agreement to pursue energy exploration opportunities in the North Sea and on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).

The collaboration focuses on utilizing advanced, integrated data solutions and artificial intelligence to drive exploration. Galdor Exploration intends to implement AI-enabled workflows, utilizing TGS’s proprietary Seismic Foundation Model and other industry-leading technology across the energy data value chain.

Galdor Exploration was formally established on July 19, 2026. The company aims to combine multidisciplinary expertise with next-generation data-driven strategies to accelerate value creation in the region.
