TGS and GTI partner for seismic acquisition projects

TGS and Geophysical Technology Inc. (GTI) have entered into a four-year strategic collaboration agreement to pursue seismic acquisition projects. The partnership aims to provide integrated solutions across shallow water, transition zone, and deepwater environments.

The companies will evaluate projects on a case-by-case basis, combining their respective technical and operational assets. TGS will provide deepwater acquisition capabilities, including deepwater vessels and ocean bottom node (OBN) assets. GTI will contribute its proprietary NuSeis® nodal recording technology, manufacturing base, and expertise in land and shallow-water operations.

This collaboration is intended to meet the increasing demand from energy companies for operational efficiency in complex offshore programs by offering a coordinated approach from the shoreline to deepwater.
