TGS announces Chevron partnership and new seismic survey contracts

TGS has entered into a strategic collaboration with Chevron to advance next-generation seismic imaging technology. The partnership will focus on joint research and development in technical domains such as Elastic Full Waveform Inversion (eFWI) and machine learning-driven workflows, utilizing TGS’ Imaging AnyWare platform alongside Chevron’s proprietary algorithms.

In separate operational developments, TGS has been awarded a streamer acquisition contract in the Mediterranean. A Ramform Titan-class vessel is scheduled to begin a survey lasting approximately 110 days in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Additionally, TGS announced the fourth phase of its Sarawak multi-client program offshore Malaysia. The program covers approximately 1,020 square kilometers, with the Ramform Sovereign expected to mobilize in the fourth quarter to complete the acquisition by December.
