TGS awarded 4D streamer acquisition contract offshore Australia

TGS, a Norwegian energy data and intelligence provider, has secured a contract for 4D streamer acquisition offshore Australia. The project will utilize the Ramform Sovereign seismic acquisition vessel.

The vessel is scheduled to mobilize in December 2026, with the survey expected to last approximately 50 days. The contract provides the company with operational visibility into the first quarter of 2027.

Kristian Johansen, CEO of TGS, stated that the award from a repeat client "demonstrates continued confidence in our differentiated acquisition capabilities, including our Ramform acquisition platform and GeoStreamer technology."
