The family of Thae Loiza Galaz, a former councilwoman from Graneros, continues to seek information regarding her disappearance. Loiza was last seen on Wednesday, August 5, leaving her apartment in Ñuñoa.

Her mother, María Rosa Galaz, provided new details after reviewing building security footage. The recordings show Loiza attempting to find her keys and subsequently contacting a friend, identified as Leila, to open the gate. The friend was the last person seen with her.

Family members expressed concern because Loiza appeared to be without money or documents at the time of her disappearance, and her cell phone had been stolen previously. The investigation was transferred to the PDI Homicide Brigade on August 11.
