Thai actor Tanapak Jongjair gains popularity via ‘VIVANT’ role

Thai actor and artist Tanapak Jongjair, known by the nickname Ohm, has gained significant attention in Japan for his role as Chokky in the TBS Sunday drama ‘VIVANT’.

Jongjair recently shared personal updates on social media, including photos of himself enjoying conveyor belt sushi in Japan, where he consumed over 30 plates. Fans reacted enthusiastically to the images, noting the contrast between his slender appearance and his large appetite. He has also shared various snapshots from his travels in Tokyo and Nagoya.

Additionally, Jongjair posted a video demonstrating the unique mannerisms of his character, specifically the high-pitched and stylized way he addresses the character Shin-chan. The video, which shows him teaching the specific inflection to friends, has been well-received by viewers. Having been cast through auditions in Bangkok, this marks his first appearance in a Japanese film or drama following his success in Thai BL series.
