Thai Airways cancels flights and adjusts schedules due to flooding
Thai Airways has announced multiple flight cancellations and schedule changes affecting both domestic and international routes.
Due to flooding in the Bangkok and surrounding metropolitan areas, the airline cancelled 11 flights between September 29 and 30. Affected international routes included services to Frankfurt, Munich, Brussels, New Delhi, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Hanoi. Domestic cancellations impacted routes to Udon Thani, Khon Kaen, Phuket, and other regional destinations.
Additionally, the airline is managing baggage delays resulting from 52 flights operated between September 26 and 27. CEO Chai Eamsiri stated that the company is working to return delayed luggage to passengers as quickly as possible. Passengers who registered via QR code will have their belongings delivered to their registered addresses, while others can collect them from the baggage service office at the domestic terminal.
