Thai Airways to resume late-night Nagoya-Bangkok flights

Thai Airways has officially announced the resumption of its late-night service between Chubu Centrair International Airport (Nagoya) and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport. Known colloquially as the ‘TG dera night flight,’ the service (flights TG647/646) is scheduled to restart on January 18, 2027 (departing Chubu on January 19).

This marks the return of the first late-night departure from Chubu Centrair after an approximately 1-year and 9-month hiatus since March 2025. The resumption will add five weekly flights (Tuesday through Saturday) to the existing daily morning service, bringing the total capacity for the Nagoya-Bangkok route to 12 flights per week.

The airline intends for the late-night schedule to improve connectivity for both business and leisure travelers. The timing allows passengers to arrive in Bangkok early in the morning, maximizing daytime activities and reducing accommodation costs. Additionally, the expanded schedule aims to facilitate smoother transfers via Bangkok to destinations such as Jakarta, Delhi, Bangalore, and Da Nang.
