Thai banks SCB and EXIM launch new customer promotions

Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) partnered with Visa to offer an exclusive experience for SCB PLANET VISA cardholders. The top three spenders who have accumulated at least 50,000 baht in purchases can win a package to attend the 2026 MAMA AWARDS in Osaka, Japan. Registration runs from 1 January to 30 March 2569 via the LINE SCB Connect app, with the award event valued at more than 2.7 million baht.

The Export‑Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Bank) presented a suite of financing promotions at the Franchise Expo Thailand 2026. Highlights include the EXIM Expand Shield loan – up to 100 million baht with interest starting at 2.59 % and 10 million baht coverage for buyer non‑payment – and a fixed‑rate loan for employment support up to 50 million baht at 2 % per year for three years. Export insurance, interest‑rate discounts of 0.25 % and reduced front‑end fees are offered to participants who register at the expo.

Both initiatives aim to stimulate Thai outbound travel and export activity by linking financial products with lifestyle and business opportunities.
