Thai fuel retailers distribute surplus mangosteen to support farmers

Major Thai fuel retailers, PTT Station and Bangchak Corporation, have partnered with the Department of Internal Trade to support southern Thai mangosteen farmers facing a seasonal market surplus.

PTT Station is distributing over 100,000 kilograms of mangosteen, valued at more than 2,000,000 Baht, through its ‘Sharing Happiness for the Community’ project. Customers refueling with at least 500 Baht at participating stations in Bangkok, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan can receive a free bag of fruit between September 11 and 13, 2026.

Similarly, Bangchak Corporation is offering fresh mangosteen to Bangchak Green Miles members who spend 500 Baht or more on any fuel type at participating stations in the same four provinces. This initiative aims to absorb excess seasonal produce and stabilize prices for local farming communities.
