Thai leaders attend UNGA81 to discuss global cooperation and trade

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Supajee Suthumpun attended the opening of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA81) in New York. The assembly is themed ‘Restoring Trust, Managing Transformation: A United Nations That Delivers for All’.

During the summit, Deputy Prime Minister Supajee Suthumpun met with United States Trade Representative Jamieson Greer to discuss advancing trade negotiations and economic cooperation between Thailand and the United States.

This year's participation coincides with the 80th anniversary of Thailand's membership in the United Nations, highlighting the nation's role in multilateralism and international development.
