Thai Nguyen accelerates administrative reforms to reach top 5 ranking

Thai Nguyen province is accelerating administrative reforms with the goal of ranking among the top five provinces in Vietnam for administrative efficiency by 2026. Currently ranked 6th out of 34 provinces and cities, the local government is focusing on improving service quality, shortening processing times, and advancing digitalization.

The provincial People's Committee has designated this goal as a “political mandate,” emphasizing that success will be measured by the satisfaction of citizens and businesses rather than just rankings. Key initiatives include strengthening public service discipline, increasing transparency, and reducing the time and costs associated with administrative procedures.
