Thai police recover stolen cash and documents for Turkish tourist

A Turkish tourist has recovered approximately 670,000 baht, along with his passport and various credit cards, following a theft at a hotel in Pak Chong, Thailand.

Police arrested a 51-year-old Thai woman after she confessed to the crime. The victim reported that he met the woman at a bar before she accompanied him to his hotel on a motorcycle. After he fell asleep, his valuables—which included 20,000 US dollars, 1,000 Turkish lira, and 200 euros—were stolen.

Authorities located the suspect at a residence in Nakhon Ratchasima. Surveillance footage reportedly showed the woman leaving the hotel with the stolen items. She faces charges of nighttime theft and the use of a vehicle to facilitate the crime.
