Thai police remove penniless Indian YouTuber from Udon Thani temple
An Indian YouTuber was asked to leave a temple in Udon Thani, Thailand, after attempting to stay overnight without funds. The individual, who documents his travels, stated he was traveling without money and relied on the assistance of locals for food and shelter.
Police arrived at the scene to inform the man that the temple grounds are not permitted for overnight stays by outsiders. Although officers and temple staff offered to help him find affordable accommodation costing approximately 400 baht per night, the YouTuber declined to save costs. He ultimately chose to spend the night at a petrol station after receiving safety advice from the authorities.
The incident, documented in a video titled “Thailand Good Police Say Get Out of The Temple Now || First Bad Experience In Thailand Temple,” has sparked significant online debate. Many commenters criticized the traveler’s lack of preparation, noting that visitors should research local regulations regarding public spaces. Some observers also expressed concern that such behavior could negatively impact the reputation of Indian travelers in Thailand.
