Thai SME Federation submits 'Blue Book' policy proposals at MSME Forum

The Thai SME Federation organized the Thai MSME Forum 2026, held 24‑26 July in Bangkok, drawing more than 1,400 participants from entrepreneurs, government agencies and the private sector. At the forum the federation presented a "Blue Cover Book" containing detailed policy proposals aimed at strengthening micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and the broader base economy.

The five reform agendas focus on expanding market access, improving financing mechanisms, encouraging technology and innovation adoption, simplifying regulations, and establishing "MSME Plus" as a national development priority. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Dr. Eakniti Nitatthanapraphas received the book and indicated that the proposals will inform upcoming policy decisions. Federation President Dr. Naphpong Theerawor highlighted that the recommendations were compiled from months of consultation with SME operators across Thailand, seeking to address structural challenges and promote sustainable growth.
