Thai Smile Bus partners with youth group for transit assistance project

Thai Smile Bus (TSB) has partnered with the youth volunteer group Sriwisa Transit to launch the ‘TSB Travel Assist’ project. The initiative aims to provide guidance on bus routes and travel planning to the public in Bangkok and its surrounding areas.

During a field activity at Victory Monument, volunteers and TSB personnel provided information to commuters to help reduce traffic congestion and encourage the use of public transportation and clean energy systems. The project specifically targets elderly passengers, tourists, and those unfamiliar with local routes who may struggle with bus lines, connections, and schedules.

Kulpornpat Wongmacharpinyo, CEO of Thai Smile Bus, stated that the project allows youth to participate in public transport development and serves as a channel to collect direct feedback from users. Phanumes Sriwisatiyakul, representing Sriwisa Transit, noted that the goal is to lower barriers to accessing transit information and foster a culture of public transport usage among urban residents.
