Thai youth golfer Aeyavarin Pradubyart dies after lightning strike

Aeyavarin Pradubyart, a 15-year-old Thai youth golfer, has passed away following a lightning strike during a golf session in Chachoengsao province. The incident occurred on November 1 in the Bang Nam Priao district.

According to her mother, the athlete suffered cardiac arrest for nearly an hour after the strike. Despite medical efforts to restart her heart and multiple resuscitation attempts throughout the night, she could not be saved.

Pradubyart was a registered member of the Thai Sport Golf Youth Association (TSGU) and a former Junior Asian Tour winner. Following the tragedy, her family has called on golf courses and tournament organizers to implement stricter safety measures and emergency response protocols to prevent similar fatalities.
