Thailand accommodation guide and budget hotel deals

Travelers visiting Thailand can find a wide range of accommodation options, from budget-friendly hotels in Trang to luxury resorts in Phuket, Koh Samui, and Chiang Mai. Current deals include stays in Trang starting at approximately €12 per night at the S2S Queen Trang Hotel and €14 at My Friends Hotel. In Khon Kaen, winter rates are available from around €18.

When selecting lodging, travelers should consider the purpose of their trip and the specific neighborhood to avoid excessive travel time. In Bangkok, staying near Sukhumvit provides better access to transit and shopping, while Old Town is closer to historic sites. In Chiang Mai, the Old City is central for temples, whereas Nimmanhaemin offers a quieter atmosphere. On the islands, locations like Patong are more active, while Kata and Kamala provide calmer beach environments.
