Thailand and Australia sign economic and crime cooperation agreements

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul conducted an official visit to Canberra, Australia, to strengthen bilateral ties with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. During the visit, the two leaders witnessed the signing of two significant agreements: a Joint Statement on Transnational Crime and a Leaders’ Statement on deepening economic engagement.

As part of the mission, the Prime Minister led a delegation of 14 representatives from nine major Thai companies to meet with the Australian Prime Minister to discuss economic opportunities. The companies involved include RATCH Australia, Supalai, Thai Beverage, B.Grimm Power, Banpu, Central Group, and Frasers Property. Additionally, the Thai Prime Minister met with Australian Opposition Leader Angus Taylor to further diplomatic discussions.
