Thailand: Cobra found in toilet following floods

In Rangsit, Thailand, a 1.5-meter-long cobra was discovered inside a toilet bowl of a vacant room following recent flooding. The tenant discovered the snake after experiencing a clogged toilet and immediately notified the landlord.

Due to floodwaters making it difficult for official emergency teams to reach the Thanyaburi district, a local motorcycle taxi driver with experience in catching reptiles was called to assist. Using a snare, the driver successfully removed the cobra from the toilet after approximately 20 minutes. The snake, which featured a distinct star-shaped pattern on its back, is expected to be moved to a protection center.
