Thailand emerges as a hub for longevity tourism and wellness
Thailand is seeing a rise in longevity tourism, with Bangkok emerging as a hub for specialized medical wellness facilities. These ‘longevity houses’ offer long-term medical oversight rather than short-term treatments, focusing on establishing biomarker baselines through blood chemistry, metabolic, and hormonal testing.
RAKxa Integrative Wellness has introduced a specific ‘Hormonal Rebalance+’ programme to meet this demand. The initiative uses comprehensive hormonal panels—measuring insulin, thyroid, reproductive hormones, cortisol, and DHEA-S—to identify imbalances that affect energy, muscle strength, and sleep. The programme integrates medical insights with traditional therapies, including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and tailored physical movement sessions.
When selecting longevity clinics in Thailand, experts recommend verifying facility licenses from the Ministry of Public Health and ensuring all physicians hold valid Thai Medical Council licenses. A credible program should prioritize measurement and baseline data before prescribing treatments.
