Thailand futsal team draws 3-3 with Vietnam in Continental Championship

On 5 August 2023, the Thailand men’s national futsal team faced Vietnam at the Gymnasium in Nonthaburi Province in the final round of the 2026 Continental Futsal Championship. Thailand, ranked 11th globally, took an early lead with goals from Nangkrit Wongwon, Panas Kittipanu, and Panas Kittipanu again, before Vietnam, ranked 21st, rallied with goals by Chao Duan Fut, Tu Minh Kwan and Nguyen Da Hai to level the match at 3‑3. The draw gave Thailand seven points from three matches, keeping them in contention for the title in the tournament’s last round, where they will meet Russia on 6 August 2023.
