Thailand Industry Minister proposes reshuffle of Permanent Secretary

Varawut Silpa-archa, the Minister of Industry, has announced plans to propose the removal of Nattapol Rangsitpol from his position as Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry during a Cabinet meeting. Following discussions with the Prime Minister, it is expected that Nattapol will be reassigned to a position as a special expert at the Office of the Prime Minister, a high-level civil service role equivalent to a permanent secretary.

The appointment of a new Permanent Secretary will await official royal commands and publication in the Royal Gazette to ensure a smooth transition.

Regarding political commentary, Varawut addressed recent discussions concerning various political regimes, stating that all citizens live under a single democratic system with the King as Head of State. He also urged protesters to express their opinions within legal frameworks without causing public distress.
