Thailand launches health initiatives for aging society and skin longevity

Thailand is addressing the challenges of becoming a super-aged society through new health and wellness initiatives. KTC has partnered with Bangkok International Hospital to promote brain health and healthy aging. This collaboration aims to raise awareness about preventing neurological issues, such as stroke, which is currently the second leading cause of death in Thailand and contributes significantly to economic losses.

In the field of aesthetic medicine, Merz Aesthetics Thailand has entered a research partnership with the National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC) under NSTDA. This collaboration focuses on 'Aesthetic Longevity' and 'Skin Longevity,' aiming to use scientific evidence to develop personalized skin care and long-term skin health solutions. The goal is to transition Thailand from a consumer of international medical knowledge to a creator of globally recognized research in the aesthetic sector.
