Thailand promotes sustainable business and tourism through major industry events

Thailand is advancing its business and tourism sectors through two major upcoming initiatives focused on innovation and sustainability.

The Thailand MICE X-Change (TMX 2027), organized by the Thai Exhibition Association, is scheduled for April 29–30, 2027, at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre in Bangkok. The event, themed ‘From Innovation to IMPACT: Shaping the Future of MICE,’ aims to promote the strategic value of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry. The exhibition is expected to host over 100 exhibitors and 4,000 delegates, facilitating hundreds of business matching meetings.

Separately, the Tourism Authority of Thailand is hosting the ‘Amazing Chiang Mai Green Guide Fest 2026’ from August 28–30 in Chiang Mai. This event is part of a prototype initiative to establish Chiang Mai as a global green destination. The festival will feature six activity zones focusing on sustainable gastronomy, local wisdom, and responsible business practices to strengthen the tourism supply chain and promote environmental responsibility.
