Thailand scales up flood relief efforts in Lad Krabang and eastern provinces

Thailand is responding to severe flooding, with Suchart Chomklin, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, coordinating relief efforts across several regions. In the Lad Krabang district of Bangkok, the ministry has increased its mobile kitchen capacity to six vehicles, capable of producing 20,000 cooked meals and 20,000 bottles of water daily to support affected residents. Emergency vehicles have also been deployed to transport patients, the elderly, and pregnant women to medical facilities.

While flood conditions in Chonburi are beginning to ease, authorities remain on alert for Rayong, Chanthaburi, Prachin Buri, and Sa Kaeo. In Rayong, officials are monitoring reservoirs and assisting residents with moving belongings to higher ground.

In a separate relief effort at Siam Amazing Park, the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation deployed veterinarians and rescue teams to assist wildlife affected by rising waters. During the operation, teams successfully relocated 10 Eld's deer to safety, though six deer were found dead due to prolonged submersion.
