Thailand Talent Summit 2026 convenes 2,500 experts to drive innovation

The Thailand Talent Summit 2026 was held at the PEACH International Convention Center in Pattaya, Chonburi, bringing together over 2,500 high-potential individuals in the fields of science, research, and innovation. The event, organized by the Thailand RISE Fund and the Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), aims to connect researchers, policymakers, and the private sector to transform laboratory knowledge into practical innovations.

Professor Dr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, presided over the summit. During a keynote address, she emphasized the importance of human capital as a strategic national power. The summit aligns with the Ministry’s 'Fostering Thailand Future; Advancing Innovation and National Impact' concept.

The Ministry has also introduced the MHESI Action Plan 2026–2030 under the 'BACKBONE' framework. This plan positions science, technology, and innovation as the essential foundation for national development across economic, social, environmental, and security sectors, with the ultimate goal of helping Thailand transition from a middle-income to a high-income country.
