Thailand teqball team wins three gold medals at 2026 Asian Games

The Thailand national teqball team achieved a perfect performance at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, winning gold medals in all three categories they entered: mixed doubles, women's doubles, and men's doubles.

In the mixed doubles final, Pakpong Dechcharoen and Supawadee Wongkamchan defeated Japan's Yuina Sakamoto and Akinori Wase with a score of 2-0 (12-4, 12-5). In the women's doubles, Supawadee Wongkamchan and Juthathip Kanthathong secured victory over Myanmar's Aung Su Mon and Than Phyu Phyu, winning 2-0 (12-6, 12-3). The men's doubles team of Sorasak Taosiri and Jeerati Chanliang completed the sweep by defeating Lebanon's Ahmad Kassem Arabi and Mohammad Hafez 2-0 (12-7, 12-4).

Following these victories, the athletes are set to receive significant financial rewards from the National Sports Development Fund. Each athlete will receive 2,000,000 baht, totaling 12,000,000 baht for the players, with additional funds allocated to the coaching staff and the Teqball Association of Thailand.
