Thailand's Nighttime Hotspots: Pattaya Walking Street Food and Bangkok's 24‑Hour Flower Market

After dark, Pattaya Walking Street in Thailand transforms into a bustling food corridor where tourists sample grilled seafood, pad Thai, som tam and other Thai snacks from stalls that charge roughly 40‑120 baht. The area, known for its nightlife and proximity to Bali Hai Pier, also offers cheaper meals in nearby Soi Buakhao and Thepprasit Market.

In Bangkok, Pak Khlong Talat—also called the Bangkok Flower Market—operates 24 hours a day near the Chao Phraya River. Visitors can reach it by the Chao Phraya Express Boat or the MRT at Sanam Chai Station. The market peaks between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. when delivery trucks from northern and central Thailand unload fresh lotus, orchids, roses, marigolds and other blossoms for wholesale and retail buyers. The fragrant stalls stay open around the clock, offering both local and imported flowers.

Both attractions illustrate Thailand’s vibrant night‑time tourism, drawing locals and international visitors to experience the country’s culinary and floral culture after hours.
