Thalía and Paulina Rubio rivalry in Timbiriche
The historical rivalry between singers Thalía and Paulina Rubio during their time in the musical group Timbiriche has regained attention following the release of the ViX biographical series.
Accounts from the artists and former group members describe a physical altercation that occurred during a performance in Ciudad Guzmán, Jalisco. The conflict reportedly began as a dispute over microphones, which escalated into hair-pulling and physical contact on stage. Paulina Rubio has recounted that the struggle involved wired microphones, leading to a physical confrontation that left her hitting Thalía in the mouth.
Other group members, including Edith Márquez and Alix, witnessed the incident, noting the divided reactions of the audience. Additionally, former member Erik Rubín recalled a second altercation that took place later that day inside a tour vehicle, where the tension between the two singers continued to escalate.
